Full Estate Eco-transformation

gentle stream ecosystem with lush native plants creating biodiversity

“Plan It Wild has been instrumental in helping us actualize our vision of restoring habitat on our 10 acre property. Over the last several years they have helped us build healthy meadows, create wetland, buffers, and bring beauty and wildlife into every area they touch. Their installation team and maintenance crew are top notch, and we look forward to continued “rewilding” in the seasons to come.”

Over the course of three seasons, we partnered with the Mount Kisco homeowner to enhance existing plantings, incorporating layers of native shrubs and perennials to realize her vision of a beautiful and ecologically functional landscape that has attracted turtles, red-wing blackbirds, a pair of great blue herons, a multitude of song birds, millions of pollinators, and hundreds of moths & butterflies.

Mowed paths through the meadow lead you to a pond and beyond to a winding river along the property edge. The abundance of native species on this property naturally filters pollutants, helping to protect the watershed. We continue to steward the property, managing the meadows and other plantings and removing invasive species.
